Ben Affleck’s love for acting stems from his childhood. During those years, he and his brother, the actor Casey, often watched stage plays with their mother. Born as Benjamin Geza Affleck-Boldt, he got his professional gig at seven years old and continued acting for his school’s stage productions. Suffice to say, these first few stints undoubtedly helped him prepare for his eventual career in the entertainment industry.

Since then, Affleck has made quite a name for himself starring in numerous projects. After garnering a skyrocketing degree of recognition for starring in Good Will Hunting, which he co-wrote with friend and co-star Matt Damon, Affleck has worked on movies such as Armageddon, Gone Girl, The Way Back, and Argo. He has also cemented his place in the comic book community, thanks to his work in both the Marvel and DC franchises, having portrayed the titular hero in Daredevil and Batman in the DCEU.
